More details about the shows:
Up first, Spin-a-Play!
In this completely improvised comedy show, the audience will be invited to suggest genres for a “brand new” play to be made up on the spot by the performers. The genres go on a spinning wheel which is then used to determine which one will be performed. Guests also get to provide suggestions to start the play off with, and throughout the show will be offered opportunities to shape the action as it unfolds, decide whether it goes right or wrong and even choose how it ends!
Will the action hero save the day and get the girl of his dreams, or will he fail and doom himself to a life of mockery? Will the charismatic thief successfully steal the diamond in the heist she has been planning for decades, or will it all go hilariously awry? The possibilities are literally endless when the audience has the power of choice.
Because of the unpredictability of our show we strongly recommend a minimum age of 16+ as strong language and mature content is likely. There is also a chance of flashing lights.
Running time: 60mins approx
(There will be a short interval of approximately 20mins between shows)
Then, Come Over Your Auntie
Join Agony Aunt, Gilly Tuppence, as she finally brings her Radio Show to a Live Studio Audience! A one (wo)man Character Comedy Show pushing the limits of satire, whilst exploring the depths of dark comedy. This show is what would happen if Alan Partridge and Jill Tyrell had a baby and then let it out loose into the world. You're not just watching a show, you're in it, apart of it, in the universe of this show. Be prepared for uncomfortable laughter as the quick wit and zany improv of Gilly Tuppence, (played by Variety Cabaret Artist, Henri J Rex), will solve all of your problems live on stage! Fall in love... or be ready to loathe... your new favourite Auntie!
Suitable for ages 18+ with adult content, strong language, satirical comedy and dark humour.
Running time: 50mins approx
